Although the idea of establishing a museum in Konjic dates back to 1974, the Heritage Museum was founded in March 2011. The variety and multitude of exhibits make it a perfect place for getting to know the past and natural heritage of Konjic. <\/span><\/p>\n

The museum is located in the heart of the historic core of the city, on the left bank of the Neretva River right next to the Old Bridge. The motive for establishing this museum was to keep a multi-layered culture of great diversity from being forgotten and decaying, as well as to present it to the public.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][gt3_spacing height=”17px”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1688626579541{margin-bottom: 32px !important;}”]\n

It also plays a big part in the promotion and preservation of the old crafts.
