Preparations have begun for the organization of the “European Rafting Championship Konjic 2024”, which will be held from June 10 to 15, 2024, organized by the World Rafting Federation and sponsored by the City of Konjic.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

On this occasion, the Vice President of the World Rafting Federation Boris Purjakov who is also the President of the Rafting Association of Serbia was in Konjic, who together with the director of the Konjic 2024 European Rafting Championship, Samir Krivi\u0107, visited the locations on the Neretva River where the competition will take place.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”19780″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]\n

\u00a0“This is something that has been prepared for many years and now the circumstances are such that we can realize it. There is still a lot to do, but we at the World Rafting Federation believe that this competition will be at the highest level. The president of the World Rafting Federation, Danilo Barmaz, will also come to Konjic” \u2013 said Purjakov, pointing out that they are familiar with the potential offered by Konjic and the Neretva River.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Samir Krivi\u0107 said that the competition will be held in 3 disciplines.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

“Descent, due to its attractiveness for the citizens, will be held from village D\u017eaji\u0107i to the Old bridge, the slalom race will be in the D\u017eaji\u0107 buk area, where a slalom course will be made, and the third discipline is a race of two boats competing in parallel. In addition, we will organize a business regatta for numerous dignitaries” – said Krivi\u0107, adding that this is a significant event that will bring great benefits, not only for the City of Konjic, but also for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its promotion.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”19784″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]\n

Boris Purjakov, who has attended all the World Rafting Championships for the past 15 years, said that everything that has been prepared so far for the competition on the Neretva gives the possibility for Konjic to apply for the organization of the World Rafting Championship.
