At the final conference of the \u201cLINKzaMlade\u201d project, titled \u201cHow to Improve Programs Supporting Youth Employment,\u201d<\/strong> held today in Konjic, the key results of the project were presented. The project is implemented by the LINK Entrepreneurship Center Mostar, the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Employment Service, the City of Konjic, the municipalities of Jablanica and Prozor-Rama, as well as employers and other organizations and services. Alisa Geki\u0107, Director of the LINK Entrepreneurship Center Mostar, stated that the project was successfully completed with more than 135 individual support plans created and 60 newly created jobs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cProjekat \u201cLINKzaMlade\u201d ulazi u zavr\u0161nu fazunakon prakti\u010dno 17 mjeseci uspje\u0161ne implementacije. Moramo re\u0107i da smo jako zadovoljni sa implementacijom,\u00a0budu\u0107i da smo ostvarili veliki odziv kada govorimo o animiranju mladih,\u00a0jer \u010dinjenica je da definitivno na evidencijama Slu\u017ebe za zapo\u0161ljavanje\u00a0imamo veliki broj nezaposlenih osoba.\u00a0Me\u0111utim, klju\u010dno je ko su to aktivni, a ko pasivni tra\u017eitelji posla.\u00a0Tako da smo u saradnji sa Slu\u017ebom za zapo\u0161ljavanje i poslodavcima-Eurosjaj, GeoBiro i brojnih drughi koji su uklju\u010deni u projekat, nastojali animirati mlade da se uklju\u010di i uzmu u\u010de\u0161\u0107e\u00a0u procesu karijernog vo\u0111enja, intenzivne radionice,\u00a0\u00a0izgradnje vje\u0161tina i brojnih drugih obuka za eventualno prekvalifikaciju i\u00a0dokvalifikaciju.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Nakon toga smo kreirali vi\u0161e od 130 individualnih profila\u00a0za zapo\u0161ljavanje, kreirali jednu bazu aktivnih tra\u017eitelja posla na ovom podru\u010dju.\u00a0I danas ponosno predstavljamo 60 radnih mjesta koji imaju perspektivu\u00a0da budu dugoro\u010dno odr\u017eivi. Na ovaj na\u010din smo htjeli na neki na\u010din da pilotiramo i taj proces karijernog vo\u0111enja uz podr\u0161ku\u00a0Me\u0111unarodne organizacije rada i Evropske unije poka\u017eemo\u00a0kako upravo ovaj pristup mo\u017ee biti implementiran generalno\u00a0na podru\u010dju Bosne i Hercegovine i kao dugoro\u010dan sistemski\u00a0odr\u017eiv na\u010din animiranja u realizaciji aktivnih mjera zapo\u0161ljavanje\u201d<\/em><\/strong>-navela je Geki\u0107.<\/p>\n

In the area of the City of Konjic, 26 young people gained employment thanks to the \u201cLINKzaMlade\u201d project, said Adisa Kevri\u0107, who attended today\u2019s conference on behalf of Mayor Osman \u0106ati\u0107.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhen it comes to the City of Konjic, three new businesses were supported through grant funds for the purchase of equipment and the co-financing of contributions, and support was also provided for the employment of 23 people from the area of the City of Konjic in the business entities Eurosijaj and GeBiro. The three supported businesses are: Aldin Cero \u2013 hair salon; Red\u017eo Ena \u2013 hair salon; and Almir \u0160irbegovi\u0107, who is engaged in photography. On this occasion, we would like to thank the donors and representatives of LINK who provided selfless support to the City of Konjic in the implementation of this project,\u201d said Adisa Kevri\u0107.<\/p>\n

D\u017eenan Trbi\u0107 from the International Labour Organization stated that the employment and self-employment of young people is possible when work is carried out with quality, as is the case with the \u201cLINKzaMlade\u201d project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe project presenting its results today is one of 16 projects being implemented in parallel, and they clearly demonstrate in practice that employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina is not as big a problem as it is often stereotypically perceived. When we take into account all the results our partners are achieving in the field\u2014particularly highlighting the role of LINK and the work LINK is doing\u2014it becomes evident that employment, including self-employment and support for entrepreneurship, can have a significant impact when carried out in a high-quality and consistent manner, as LINK does,\u201d said Trbi\u0107.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The \u201cLINKzaMlade\u201d project is part of the \u201cEUzaZapo\u0161ljavanje\u201d project, financed by the European Union and Sweden. Mojca Krisper Figeroa, Team Leader in the Cooperation Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, spoke to radiokonjic.ba about the importance of the project.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOnce again, we are here to present and showcase all the results achieved by the LINK Agency through the youth support project. We must emphasize that we are very pleased with this joint initiative of the European team, through which four million euros have been allocated to projects that are, in fact, youth support projects. I would also like to add that young people are truly a vulnerable group that needs the greatest possible opportunities and strong support in order to become independent, secure their first jobs, and gain work experience so they can succeed as well as possible in the future,\u201d stated Krisper Figueroa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One of the young people from Konjic who was supported through the \u201cLINKzaMlade\u201d project is Konjic-based photographer Almir \u0160irbegovi\u0107. Speaking about the significance of the project for our radio, he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started my own business related to photography\u2014specifically, a photo studio. I attended training sessions in Mostar through the LINK organization, where I learned about starting a business, since all of this was new to me. It was very helpful to learn how to operate and run a business. I purchased new equipment and received around 7,500 convertible marks. An important step was starting a craft business, that is, registering my company,\u201d \u0160irbegovi\u0107 emphasized.<\/p>\n

The conference also offered a series of recommendations from the EU, Sweden, local authorities, and employers<\/strong> on how this model of supporting youth employment could be applied in other communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
