The 24th edition of the High School Drama Festival of Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by AP \u201cNeretva\u201d Konjic, will be officially opened tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. in the cinema hall of NU Konjic. Ida Daguda, Secretary of AP \u201cNeretva\u201d Konjic, says that the final preparations for the festival are underway.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPreparations are certainly underway, and as we approach the start of the festival, there is always the most work to be done. However, together with our volunteers and members, we are truly making an effort to provide the festival participants with an unforgettable experience. It is a demanding task, but one we all carry out with a sense of joy and anticipation for the day when we will officially open the festival. I believe that both the participants, as well as our volunteers and members, will be satisfied with this year\u2019s organization,\u201d said Daguda.

This year, 13 performances will be staged at the festival. Theatre and high school groups are coming from across Bosnia and Herzegovina, all united by a shared love for the art of theatre, through which they seek to highlight important social issues.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn total, there are 12 performances, not including the play \u2018Eight Women\u2019<\/em> by AP \u2018Neretva\u2019 Konjic, which will be performed on the first day of the festival at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, April 18, the First Gymnasium Sarajevo will present itself to the Konjic audience with the play \u2018In the Land of Certificates and Diplomas\u2019<\/em> at 11:30 a.m. On the same day, the Gymnasium \u2018Musa \u0106azim \u0106ati\u0107\u2019 from Te\u0161anj will also perform with the play \u2018When the Opanak Meets the Slipper\u2019<\/em> at 5:30 p.m.\u201d
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday, April 19, at 11:30 a.m., the Citizens\u2019 Association \u201cAplauz\u201d from \u017divinice will perform \u201cRomeo and Juliet\u201d<\/em>, and later that day at 5:30 p.m., the Cultural Center \u201cTheatre Derventa\u201d will stage the play \u201cPlayground of Dreams.\u201d<\/em>
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, April 20, we will also welcome a group from \u017divinice \u2013 the Acting School of the Public Institution \u201cBosnian Cultural Center\u201d \u017divinice \u2013 who will perform the play \u201cSequence\u201d<\/em> at 11:30 a.m. Later that same day, at 5:45 p.m., a group from the Catholic School Center \u201cSt. Francis\u201d in Tuzla will present the play \u201cBelieve Me.\u201d<\/em>

On Tuesday, April 21, at 11:30 a.m., we will watch the Youth Theatre Bijeljina perform \u201cWhen We Were Our Age.\u201d<\/em> Later that same day, the Livno Gymnasium will stage the play \u201cHasanaginica\u201d<\/em> at 5:00 p.m.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, April 22, our partner theatre, Teatar FEDRA from Bugojno, will perform \u201cOliver Twist\u201d<\/em> at 11:30 a.m. Later that day, at 5:30 p.m., we will also watch the Gymnasium \u201cRizah Od\u017eeki\u0107\u201d from Zavidovi\u0107i with their play \u201cThe Road That Brought Me Home.\u201d<\/em>

On Thursday, April 23, at 11:30 a.m., the Cultural Center \u017dep\u010de will perform the play \u201cEpitaph.\u201d<\/em> Later that day, at 5:30 p.m., we will watch the play \u201cAlienated,\u201d<\/em> prepared by the dedicated young participants from the Public Institution Cultural and Sports Center Kakanj.

On the final day of the festival, April 24, the closing ceremony and awards presentation are scheduled for 6:30 p.m.,\u201d said Ida Daguda, Secretary of AP \u201cNeretva\u201d Konjic.

During the festival, workshops for young actors will also be held. In addition to a themed workshop on peer violence, led by actor Armin Filipovi\u0107, drama workshops will also be organized and conducted by members of the expert jury: Damir Kustura, Sa\u0161a Pe\u0161evski, and Emina \u0160ehi\u0107.
