A spacious mountain named Bitovnja is located about 10 km from the city of Konjic.
This beauty represents a watershed between the Adriatic and the Black Sea basins.

Rich in herbs and blueberries
The sources of Trešanica and Kraljušćica, tributaries of the Neretva River, that belong to the Adriatic basin, as well as the Željeznica and Crna River, which belong to the Black Sea basin, are found in Bitovnja. The mountain is rich in numerous springs and water, and both, mixed and evergreen forests up to a height of 1500 m.
The highest parts are predominantly pastures rich in blueberries and healing herbs. Lisin represents the highest peak of Bitovnja with a height of 1742 m above the sea level and is located right on ”and”, not in Bosnia nor Herzegovina, but literally between. Due to Lisin’s great location, there are several telecommunication antennas, as well as an auxiliary building that can be used as a shelter for hikers in case of a storm. The tour tombstones stećci – Lisin is great for hiking and mountain biking. From this peak, you can see mountains Jahorina, Prenj, Velež, Čvrsnica, Romanija, Visočica, Bjelašnica, Cincar, Raduša, and Zvijezda.
