The Old town of Konjic is perfectly located close to all the major tourist attractions in the city.
It’s located on the left bank of the Neretva River and is adorned with the old town districts, the Čaršija mosque,
and Varda mosque, the Orthodox church of St. Basil the Great, a new promenade along the Neretva River,
a stone castle on Varda and medieval tombstones in the Park on Varda, just below the Varda mosque.

Thanks to the reconstruction of the Old Bridge of Konjic, which was built in 1682 as a part of the endowment of Ali-aga Hasečić and demolished in 1945, tourism in Konjic flourished as an economic branch.

To the left of the Old Bridge, visitors can enjoy a walk through the beautiful Old town, and stop by the Heritage Museum, the birth house of Zuko Džumhur, and the astonishing Tekke Mosque.
The rich cultural and historical heritage of the Old town of Konjic is enriched by the Neretva River, a beautiful natural attraction that connects the Old town with the center of the city as well as the construction from the Austro-Hungarian and modern periods. Apart from the Neretva River, the Old Bridge is also connecting the left and the right bank of the river.
The core of the Old town became attractive, primarily thanks to the cleanliness of the river ornamented with the Old Bridge along with nearby restaurants, delicious local food, and friendly staff.
It keeps attracting more and more tourists every day who see Konjic as a perfect place to rest and relax.
Konjic is very specific due to its location, climate, vegetation, this amazing, already mentioned river which gives it a special charm with its beauty and color; for already mentioned lakes, heights of the magnificent Prenj mountain, fish variety, cheese from Repovci and most importantly, for its numerous monuments and number of tombstones that testify about the past of this area as well as the Bogomils as our ancestors.
