The City of Konjic is part of the “Green Destination Top 100 Stories” and is one of the 6 destinations from Bosnia and Herzegovina that were included in the selection of TOP 100 destinations for green destination certification, within the EU4Business Recovery project which is co-financed by the European Union and the German government.

The goal is for the destinations through their development to enable a better quality of life for the local population, contribute to the protection of natural and cultural heritage, and promote responsible tourism. 

During 2023, we successfully fulfilled the first 15 criteria related to Sustainable Checking and Good Practice Story, which resulted in the presentation of Konjic as a destination at the Green Destination 2023 event in Tallinn, Estonia, which will be held from October 8-10, 2023.
