Skokovi u Kazan 2024 held in Konjic
Dino Bajrić from Sarajevo, last year’s winner of the “Skok u kazan” competition, with a maximum of 30 points in both series, was the best this year as well (prize 1000 KM), second place was won by Igor Arsenić from Banja Luka (prize 800 KM), and the third place was Evald Krnić, Tuzi, Montenegro (prize 600 KM).

Expert juries made this decision after the competitors performed two series of jumps.
A total of 18 competitors from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina took part, and 10 competitors made it to the second round.
Zenica’s Mustafa Šarić, although he qualified for the second series, did not perform due to an injury he sustained while performing the first jump. He was given medical attention, but he withdrew from the second performance.
“Skok u kazan” is a jump into the Neretva from a height of 16 meters into cauldron-shaped stone recess (kazan) that is two meters deep and wide, and is surrounded by rocks and requires great courage and dexterity from the jumper. The headlong “lasta” jump is performed.

An aggravating circumstance this year was the low water level of the Neretva River, so two jumpers gave up the competition.
This year, the organizer awarded special awards for the promotion of this international competition, which were given to jumpers Emir Cakić, Said Karalić, Dino Bajrić and Danko Dangubić, the mayor of Konjic Osman Ćatić and the chief judge of the competition Adnan Džumhur. Elmir Hadžialić presented the award on behalf of the organizers.

The 22nd international extreme diving “Skok u kazan 2024” was organized by the Triathlon and Pentathlon Association “Gorsko oko”, under the auspices of the City of Konjic, as part of the “Konjic Summer” and it contributes to the more attractive tourist offer of this city, which in recent years ranks as an increasingly popular tourist destination in our country.
Jumpers from Konjic also took part in the competition: Elvir Kovačević, Imran Bilanović and Deni Šahinović.
The president of the expert jury was Adnan Džumhur, and the jumpers were judged by Sanjin Džajić, Adnan Alagić, Said Karalić and Emir Cakić.
