The 4th Habitat Culture Fest has opened at Boračko Lake.
The 4th Habitat Culture Fest was opened on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Hercegovina Lodges location. This multi-month cultural festival promotes the cultural diversity of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an integral part of European and world heritage. The festival began with a literary evening dedicated to the novel “Sandro” by author Elvedin Nezirović.

In the first program of this year’s edition, the audience heard from the author Nezirović himself, writer and moderator of the evening Adnan Repeša, and guest Adnan Žetica. The audience had the opportunity to gain interesting insights into the social layers addressed in the novel, as well as the creative process behind it.

“Habitat Culture Fest remains true to its mission of connecting creatives from the country, diaspora, and the region through literature, exhibitions, films, and dialogue. This year, we are bringing new content, all set in an environment that blends nature and culture,” the organizers stated.
We would like to remind you that the festival will continue throughout the summer with a program that includes, among other things, the photo exhibition “Man from the East” by Hadis Medenčević, the book promotion of “Deliver Us from Evil” by Marko Romić, the screening of the film “Forgive Us Our Debts” by Sergej Kreso, and the promotion of the work “The Book about Almir” by author Adisa Bašić.
The organizers also announce that all festival events will be published promptly on the official Habitat Culture Fest Facebook page.
