Organized by NU Konjic, on Friday, September 19, at 8 p.m., the play “It’s Not Me, It’s the Universe”, a monodrama by Adnan Alić, will be performed at the Cinema Hall. The play, based on the work “How Beautiful My Vectra Is”, tells the story of a modern man and his everyday dilemmas.

“It’s Not Me, It’s the Universe”: Humor and Social Critique in Adnan Alić’s New Play
The play combines sharp humor, irony, and subtle social critique, while Alić emphasizes that the goal is to make the audience laugh without vulgarity.
“The play is, above all, a quality comedy, without any vulgarity or insults. My goal is for people to go home after the performance in better spirits and with more laughter than when they arrived,” said Alić.
Although it is a monodrama, where it is more difficult to keep the audience’s attention, Alić handles the role excellently, despite having no personal experience with marriage. “It was very challenging for me, but I worked hard and I believe I authentically portrayed what that character truly is,” he added, sending a message to everyone who comes to see the play:
“The play ‘It’s Not Me, It’s the Universe’ offers an hour of laughter and reflection on the things that make us happy or unhappy.”
