Agreements Signed with the First Step Economic Development Agency and the PBP Company from Konjic

Minister Pozder Signs Agreements for Capital Transfers
“Through these projects, we aim to promote tourism development that is both sustainable and authentic. Our goal is for every tourist destination in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to have the opportunity to contribute to economic growth through quality infrastructure and the preservation of natural and cultural values. I am especially pleased that, in this way, we will support the development of specific types of tourism, including religious and adventure tourism, as well as projects aimed at reducing seasonality and promoting our cultural-historical and natural heritage,” said Minister Pozder.
For the Co-Financing Program for Infrastructure and the Development of Specific Tourist Destinations, agreements were signed today with Minister Pozder by: Hercegovačko selo Čitluk for the project “Square of Experiences and Encounters”, Čajuša d.o.o. Kupres for the construction of a four-seater chairlift and to overcome seasonality, PBP Konjic for the development of infrastructure for winter tourism on Jelica Mountain near Konjic. An agreement was also signed with the Franciscan Theology in Sarajevo for a project to develop infrastructure at the St. Paul Monastery to promote religious tourism.
Within the Co-Financing Program for Projects Promoting Sustainable Tourism at destinations of broader cultural-historical and natural significance, agreements were signed for the following projects: Reconstruction of recreational furniture in the Protected Landscape of Konjuh, A project by the Konjic Economic Development Agency concerning the repair of the foundation and light-based visual communication at the Titov Bunker Museum, A project by the Visoko Heritage Museum for the preparation of project documentation aimed at the revitalization of the medieval Čajangrad Fortress

We would like to remind that Minister Pozder last week signed agreements with mayors, municipal leaders, and representatives of local communities for the same programs, with the total funding for capital tourism development projects for 2025 amounting to KM 1,500,000
The Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism will continue in the coming days to sign agreements with other beneficiaries, as well as for programs related to ongoing transfers for tourism development, the ministry announced.
