At the beginning of 2024, on Mount Jelica, about 15 kilometers from Konjic, the Hotel “Han Jelica” was opened, which is a new business unit of the company PBP doo Konjic, which has been engaged in catering for more than a decade, operating with two restaurants and one hotel in Konjic.

The new hotel we opened today is our biggest challenge so far and a new beginning. Bearing in mind the potential offered by our town of Konjic for the development of tourism, this project is the first in our area to be designed as a hotel and restaurant with a ski slope. We all know that Konjic, in addition to the beautiful Neretva, also has very beautiful mountains, so we decided on the Jelica mountain, which provides ideal conditions for the realization of our idea – said Muhamed Novalić, director of the PBP company, inviting the guests to visit the Jelica mountain.
Novalić clarified that Hotel “Han Jelica”, which has 14 modernly equipped accommodation units, is located on the road and intersection to Blatačko Lake, villages Lukomir and Čuhovići, and emphasized that it is a real paradise for mountain lovers because, in the coming period in Near the facility, guests can use a 300-meter-long ski track with a ski lift, which is ideal for beginners and children.
Our wish and intention was, among other things, to create the opportunity and conditions for our children from Konjic to learn to ski, without having to go further than our town. We are delighted with any progress in terms of expanding accommodation capacities, especially in mountainous areas, which have a great development perspective when it comes to tourism and the enrichment of the tourist offer.
