“The 24th Festival of High School Dramatic Creativity of Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened in Konjic.”
“With a ceremonial opening, the curtain was raised on the 24th Festival of High School Dramatic Creativity of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Konjic. The festival was officially opened by the Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, who wished all participants a pleasant stay in Konjic, while also commending the hosts for yet another excellent organization of the festival.”

“The City of Konjic is always part of positive stories. First, I would like to commend the young people from AP ‘Neretva’ Konjic, who have been working for 24 years to give young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina the opportunity to showcase their talents at this festival. That is extremely valuable and deserves recognition. I also wish that the young people who come to Konjic take away beautiful memories and return to us again,” said Mayor Ćatić.
“Ena Osmanović, president of AP ‘Neretva’ Konjic, expressed her satisfaction that they managed to meet the goals they set for this year’s festival, which will bring together 200 young people from across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the next seven days, Konjic will be a place of theatre art, socializing, and the exchange of experiences.”
“We have opened our 24th Festival of High School Dramatic Creativity, and I believe we have met the goals we set for ourselves. I hope that all participants will enjoy our city and have an unforgettable festival. We have young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina—some are regular guests, while others are here for the first time,” said Osmanović.

“Sedin Hondo, advisor to the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of HNK, highlighted the importance of such events for young people, who express their ideas, emotions, and views through art.”
“This festival is not just an event that brings together talent, but also a meeting place for young people who express their ideas, emotions, and attitudes through art. Drama, as one of the oldest forms of artistic expression, has a special power to connect us, encourage reflection, and develop empathy,” Hondo said.

“After the ceremonial opening, the performance ‘Neretva for Neretva’, directed by Armin Filipović, was also held. Today at 5:30 PM, the first play is scheduled to be performed, and the Konjic audience will be presented with the hosts—the members of AP ‘Neretva’ Konjic—who will perform in the play ‘Eight Women’, directed by Inas Gačanin.”

“The Festival of High School Dramatic Creativity of Bosnia and Herzegovina will run until April 24, and the ‘Neretva’ Theatre has invited all lovers of theatre art to visit the cinema during the scheduled performance times at 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM, and to show their support for the young actors.”
