Ensemble “Rezonanca” marked 25 years of work.

The concert “For Our Souls, For Our Loved Ones” was held.

The women’s vocal ensemble “Rezonanca” from Konjic marked its 25th anniversary this evening with a ceremonial concert held in the cinema hall of the Narodni univerzitet.

Wishing to express their gratitude to their fellow citizens for their long-standing support, the choir members “gifted” them a concert, symbolically naming it “For Our Souls, For Our Loved Ones.”

The ensemble’s repertoire featured songs from various genres, which the concert audience thoroughly enjoyed.

Ceremonial gifts were presented to the president of “Rezonanca,” Biljana Handžo, by Adisa Kevrić on behalf of the Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, and by Sabina Ćukle on behalf of BZK – the Konjic City Society. A bouquet of 25 roses was presented to her by the ensemble’s youngest members.

After the concert, Biljana Handžo stated that performing in front of a local audience always brings a greater sense of nervousness.

“But we sang for our souls, for our loved ones, in a way that everyone in the hall tonight would feel good, to share with us an emotional moment that is meaningful both for us and for everyone who values culture in this city. I believe that twenty-five years is a respectable milestone, especially because it has been continuous without interruption—it is significant. Generations change; this lineup has been together for the past fifteen years, and it shows that it all makes sense. I am overjoyed that we could give our dear fellow citizens this beautiful evening for our anniversary. We are happy, and we will do it again, with more beautiful performances to come. God bless us all with health, so that we stay alive and well—there will be music again,
